Rockies Pull One Out; Gray Talks Rehab Start

The Colorado Rockies squandered a 9-1 lead but rallied for a 10-9 win over the San Francisco Giants on Ramiel Tapia's walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the ninth inning.

The Giants scored eight runs over the final three innings to tie the game heading to the bottom of the ninth. Tapia's hit brought Mark Reynolds home with the game-winning run.

Tapia had two hits and two RBIs. Nolan Arenado and D.J. LeMahieu combined to go 7-for-10 with 6 RBIs and 5 runs scored.

Despite giving up the tying run in the top of the ninth, Greg Holland picked up the win.

Rockies right-hander Jon Gray threw his first rehab start on Wednesday, June 14 at High-A Lancaster. Gray went four scoreless innings and scattered four hits with a one walk and five strikeouts. His next rehab start will be Monday, June 19 with AAA Albuquerque. Gray spoke with KOA NewsRadio's Mike Rice Thursday at Coors Field.
