Rockies Bust Out Late, Rout Cardinals 10-0

The Colorado Rockies broke open a close game with an 8-run eighth inning and defeated the St. Louis Cardinals, 10-0, Friday night at Coors Field.

Outfielder Charlie Blackmon was 4-4 with a home run and three RBIs. He was a double short of the hitting for the cycle. Mark Reynolds also hit a home run and drove in three runs.

Right-hander Antonio Senzatela was outstanding. He went eight innings and gave up just five hits. He struck out three.
