Broncos defensive lineman Derek Wolfe is ready to speak his mind.

"I didn't speak up enough [last year]. When I saw things, I didn't speak up and say things when I should have. But I'm not letting that [expletive] slide this year," Wolfe told reporters on Tuesday at UCHealth Training Center.

Wolfe also made no excuses for the Broncos' defensive performance against the run. Last year, Denver allowed 130 yards per game on the ground, 28th in the NFL.

"I can sit here and make all the excuses I want but at the end of the day, we just didn't get it done," Wolfe said. "There's no excuse for that. It's just poor focus. It's bad football. Guys are banged up or whatever. It just doesn't matter. You just gotta get it done."

Wolfe also talked about learning to become a better leader. Great stuff from him and new defensive lineman Domata Peko is below.
