Free Agent Safety Kareem Jackson, is now Broncos Safety Kareem Jackson again. The soon to be 34-year-old(his birthday is April, 10th) has reached a 1-year-deal for the 2nd straight season. This will "KJack's" fourth year in Denver. He originally signed a 3-year, $33 Million deal, but was released after the 2020 season. After testing the free agent waters, he returned last year on 1-year $5 Million Deal, and teamed with Justin Simmons to form the best safety duo this side of Buffalo for the 3rd straight year.

In 3 seasons in Denver, the 12-year-vet started all but 5 games. He posted 248 tackles, and forced 7 fumbles. Last month at the NFL Owner's Meetings, General Manager George Paton expressed interest in re-signing running back Melvin Gordon as well as Jackson, "We'd love to bring everyone back but we just can't do it," Paton said. "But we're still talking with those two really good players."

Clearly, the interest was such that Jackson's not only back, but he can reach a similar salary as last year's, with incentives. His base salary is believed to be around $2 Million.
