On Thursday and Friday, April 15 and 16, Major League Baseball teams are commemorating Jackie Robinson Day, in memory of the Hall of Famer who broke baseball's color barrier on April 15, 1947.
Mike Long is the editor of the new book 42 Today: Jackie Robinson and His Legacy, a collection of pieces that explores various aspects of Robinson's life.
New York University Press published the book, which is available on the dot-coms and in major bookstores.
