Colorado Rockies 2021 Schedule Released

While the abbreviated Major League Baseball season is about to get going, the league released the 2021 schedule.

The Colorado Rockies will open at home against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Thursday, April 1.

The Rockies schedule features Interleague games against the American League West, with the Rockies playing all AL West teams at home and visiting the Angels, Mariners, Astros and Rangers.

The final day of the 2021 regular season will be October 3.

COLORADO ROCKIES 2021 SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED

Rockies open at home for the first time since 2011

DENVER– In collaboration with Major League Baseball, the Colorado Rockies announced today the preliminary 162-game schedule for the 2021 Major League Baseball season. Game times have yet to be announced.

For the first time since 2011, the Rockies will open the season at Coors Field. Colorado’s season kicks off with a four-game series against the Los Angeles Dodgers, with Opening Day falling on Thursday, April 1. Following an off-day on Monday, April 5, the Rockies will finish the homestand with a three-game series against Arizona, April 6-8, prior to their first road trip of 2021 that will take them to San Francisco (April 9-11) and Los Angeles-NL (April 13-15).

The 2021 Interleague Play schedule for the Rockies will be against the American League West Division, with home games against Houston (April 20-21), Texas (June 1-3), Oakland (June 4-6) and Seattle (July 20-21). The road slate against the Junior Circuit will feature matchups at Seattle (June 22-23), Los Angeles-AL (July 26-28), Houston (Aug. 10-11) and Texas (Aug. 30-31).

The final homestand of 2021 will take place against Los Angeles-NL (Sept. 21-23), San Francisco (Sept. 24-26) and Washington (Sept. 27-29). The season will conclude with a three-game series at Arizona, Oct. 1-3.

The Rockies schedule includes home games for the following holidays: Father’s Day (June 20 vs. Milwaukee), Independence Day (July 4 vs. St. Louis) and Labor Day (September 6 vs. San Francisco).

Postgame fireworks are scheduled for July 2 and July 3 vs. St. Louis, as well as Sept. 24 vs. San Francisco.
