More Students Being Served By Full-Day Kindergarten

More students in Colorado are benefiting from early education opportunities. The latest figures from the state Department of Education show nearly 62-thousand public school kids statewide were enrolled in full-day kindergarten to start the 2019-2020 calendar. That's an increase of nearly 12-thousand over the previous year. Officials say the rise can be directly attributed to the passage of a bill during last year's legislative session which provides 100-percent funding for full-day kindergarten across Colorado.
