Pilot Program allows Electric vehicles in Denver Parks

The Denver Parks and Recreation Department says a 180 day trial period allowing electric scooters and electric bicycles on Denver trails and park facilities is going over well. A spokeswoman says since electric vehicles have become so popular over the past few years they decided to try it out on soft surface trails in city parks except where posted that e-devices are not allowed. They are not permitted where regular bicycles are not allowed. The parks and rec department is taking feedback at denvergov.org/trails. They say so far the response has been positive. The trial period lasts until November.
