Denver is Bidding for 2026 World Cup Games

Colorado leaders have released the logo and website for a bid to bring World Cup soccer games to Denver in 2026.

The FIFA Men's World Cup has already selected a bid from the USA, Canada and Mexico to host the games. The issue now is what cities will be chosen as game venues. Denver is one of 17 cities vying for one of ten slots to host games.

Governor Jared Polis says hosting World Cup games could bring more than $300-million dollars into the Metro Area economy.
