Homeless Advocates ask Mayor Hancock for $50 million a year.

Now that Denver Mayor Michael Hancock has won re-election, a homeless advocate is asking him to come up with more money. Cathy Alderman with the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless said the Mayor should come up with $50 million annually to solve the city's homeless problem. She said if Hancock doesn't come up with the money her group is going to take their case to the voters in 2020. She said most homeless people would love a safe place to stay. She said there are people with mental health and addiction problems that should also be addressed with funding.
