Aurora Man is Sentenced for Attacking women in Denver Suburbs

A Douglas County District Court judge sentenced Geoffrey Johnson to 45 years in prison for three armed attacks that terrified women in Littleton, Highlands Ranch and Parker. Prosecutors say Johnson and two other men were responsible for the late night attacks in February of 2017. One woman was attacked at a car wash in Littleton. The men ransacked her vehicle, and stole her phone. Prosecutors say the next day they approached a woman in her driveway in Highlands Ranch. She gave the men her keys, her purse, her phone and her wallet. One hit her on the head with a handgun before they got away. Later that day another woman was returning home in Parker. The men approached her on her porch, and one pulled her purse off her shoulder. The woman ran after them and they fired two shots at her as they got away. 21 year old Xavier Masse was sentenced on February 15th to 37 years in prison. Prosecutors say 21 year old Deaundre McWilliams played a lesser roll and was sentenced in December 2017 to a 15 year suspended sentence pending successful completion of six years in the Youthful Offender System.
