Public Asked to Help Solve the Murder of a Disabled Man

Arapahoe County Sheriff's investigators are asking the public for help to solve the murder of a disabled man last month.

Mark Davis (48) walked with the help of a cane as the result of severe arthritis. He was the father of six and had no known enemies. Investigator, Kal Gatchis, says they've exhausted all leads and are hoping someone saw something shortly after 7 a.m. on January 18th. That's when Davis was gunned down on East Fremont Avenue near the apartment complex where he lived.

Gatchis calls it an ambush killing. She's hopeful someone saw something that morning that can help investigators find the killer.

If you have information call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867 or the Arapahoe County tip line at 720-874-8477

A reward of $2,000 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of a suspect.
