The first Blizzard Warning of the season was issued by the National Weather Service. It includes Castle Rock and much of the I-70 corridor on the Eastern plains. That area can expect wind gusts up to 50 miles per hour and 10 inches of snow causing near zero visibility Monday night and early Tuesday morning. The Denver area is expected to get just two to four inches of snow, with lower amounts North of town and much less wind.
