These days, if the Colorado Rockies don't have bad luck, they don't have any at all. Rockies catcher Tom Murphy is out 4-6 weeks with a hairline fracture in his right forearm. Murphy was struck by a bat on Anthony Rizzo's follow-through in Saturday's game against the Cubs.
Murphy joins Chris Rusin, David Dahl, Chad Bettis and Ian Desmond as Rockies who have been felled by injury or illness in the last week-plus.
Murphy spoke with reporters Tuesday in Scottsdale.
